R.A.M.S. (Remote Alert Monitoring System)

The R.A.M.S. system is designed for use within your secondary containment structure. The R.A.M.S. is capable of monitoring high & low fluid levels, high & low temperature levels, and can be upgraded to monitor pressure alarms, compressor shut downs and tank levels. If a spill happens at a traditional site, it may not be noticed for a couple of days. With the R.A.M.S., you will know about it almost immediately. This immediate information will help you get a head start on fixing the problem at that site and reduce it's effect on the environment, which will save time and money.

When it detects high fluid levels, the R.A.M.S. unit sends a text message and/or email to everyone in the R.A.M.S. contact list. Each R.A.M.S. system can hold up to 12 contacts. At this point you are able to recognize which location the alert is coming from and, through your map software, get turn by turn directions. You can also send this information on to other interested parties. The R.A.M.S. contact list is programmed by the user from their smart phone or computer. All alerts are stored on a central server so these alerts can be accessed at a later date.

Installing the R.A.M.S. is simple, just connect the R.A.M.S. unit’s magnetic base onto the metal containment ring or pole. Magnetic, adhesive or clamp type mounting base options are available upon request. Once the main unit is in place you need to install the sensor. Since the sensor is hard wired and plugged into the main unit, it can be placed any distance from the R.A.M.S. unit, as long as you have enough wire to reach between the two. Once you have the unit and sensor in place you will need to add contacts to the R.A.M.S.

The R.A.M.S. is a self contained monitoring system. It includes one sensor that measures temperatures and fluid levels, one solar charger, & one 20 year battery. The R.A.M.S. unit is plug and play compatible for up to 4 additional sensors (optional).

The R.A.M.S. is designed to alert you when fluid levels or temperature levels increase in the secondary containment structure.
The R.A.M.S. unit attaches to the side of the metal containment structure either with an adhesive or magnetic backing or bolt it on.
The sensor has a strong adhesive backing that will attach to most surfaces. Just place the sensor at the desired level.
The R.A.M.S. will alert you when fluid levels reach a certian height.
The R.A.M.S. will alert you when the air around the sensor reaches a specified temperature.
The R.A.M.S. can save you money by alerting you when problems begin, allowing you to address the problems sooner.
Once the R.A.M.S. detects a problem it will send you a text message or email stating what the R.A.M.S. has detected. With your map software get turn by turn directions to the alerted site.
